He and his younger sister worked as blacksmiths in theirĀ father'sĀ blacksmith shopĀ all their life until they met MasterĀ Wu. With his guidance, Kai learnedĀ SpinjitzuĀ and discovered his other teammates, with whom he embarked on many adventures; battling the likes of theĀ SerpentineĀ and theĀ Stone Army. He andĀ ColeĀ were the de facto leaders of theĀ NinjaĀ team beforeĀ LloydĀ became the new leader of the team.
